Global Ecosystem Preservation (GEP) is dedicated to protecting the natural systems that sustain all life on Earth. We believe that the health of people, animals, and the environment are inseparably linked — a principle known as One Health.

Converting GDP to GEP

Traditional measures of progress like Gross Domestic Product overlook the value of healthy ecosystems. We advocate for a new framework that recognizes ecosystem services as essential infrastructure — clean water, fertile soil, pollination, climate regulation, and biodiversity — and prioritizes their preservation in decision-making at every level.

Our Approach

We partner with local communities, scientists, and policy makers to design interventions that restore ecosystems while supporting human well-being. From watershed protection to wildlife corridors, our work spans the local to the global.
